Cool Vibes Cool Rides
I'm Baaack! I have lately been practicing my panning techniques lately while attending events. This image is taken at the Ultimate Car Show (Reynolds Museum - Wetaskiwin, Alberta) as the cars were leaving the venue. It was an extremely hot day and couldn't handle Me walking around the show, so set up a lawn chair along the road way and captured this. Besides making the car stand out, the addition of the pan makes the car look like it is moving fast when in reality, it wasn't. I like it!

Canada Day 2025 |
To Celebrate the end of something
To Celebrate the beginning of something
or just to Celebrate - Watching fireworks always brings a wonderment for all ages alike.
Seriously - Who doesn't like fireworks?
Its been a long time since I have posted to here and today I thought, why not. The last few years have certainly had its challenges and thankfully I am still here to talk about them. Im going to leave the past in the past and move forward from here. Hopefully I shall be able to create something useful for myself.

Isolation
Its been quite a while since I have written in this blog...a blog that only I know about...
Our world right now in a crisis state....The Corona Virus ( named as Covid19) is sweeping the world very quickly and we are now trying to stave off its spread by distancing ourself from others...I have opted to stay away from everyone - My sons ,family friends, basically society as a whole....I will have to do this for a couple of months while the virus consumes our province and nation, eventually diminishing in its capacity. It is my responsibility to stay safe and thus the isolation. I pray for my children and all those that I love. My only sanctuary is the ability to go outdoors ( at least for now, as in some cities people are now being confined to their residences) - - a Freedom that we all take for granted. So today as I re-enter my blog - I have chosen photos that represent the isolation of my daily existence. Perhaps, this is what I need right now...a chance to express myself.
I loved how the shadows fell against the knolls...There is still lots
of snow for this time of year.

Mother Nature does have her way.

Light Painting with Kitty Kye
We had the privilege of having a model to work with tonight. I am still having difficulty with the focus portion.

Deer Lake, Newfoundland, Canada
Sometimes when I am travelling these challenges can be a challenge in itself.
This one was easy.
