May Dash - LIGHT PAINTING
This was my first attempt at light painting. I find it to be a fascinating concept and look forward to getting the opportunity to pursue this further. I just used a small flashlight on these.

Chaplin Salt Mine

I have always been fascinated by this area, but have never taken the time to stop. I'm so glad I did. Who knew?

Chaplin Saskatchewan has the 2nd largest salt water body in Canada. Over 400,000 tonnes of sodium sulphate is produced per year and is used in producing detergents, paper, glass, and textiles. Artemia Canada operates a brine shrimp processing plant in Chaplin and has been in the community for over 30 years. Brine shrimp is freeze dried and used as fish food.

It is so incredible to see these big piles of salt, somewhat resembling snow. I think it done in black and white is more dramatic.
