Lifes little creatures

I thought it was so cute how this little guy put his little arm up on the leaf.

 

 

Really interesting caterpillar. It was trying to crawl up to a higher point - quite the journey as it was on the side of the house. What really intrigued me here is that what appeared as a grey caterpillar, upon closer inspection had beautiful coloring and the markings on each segment appear as spiders.

Seattle - Day 3 - The Ambience of the City

An Art Car - idea is to dress up a car with what ever you feel! This particular one was made in a couple of weeks, by the Chairman of the local chapter. She used accessories as her theme - So inventive and creative.

 

                                           Down at the market - a buffet for your senses.

      Kicking off the evening with one of Seattles Best kept secrets - and I'm keeping it that way.

Seattle - Day 2 - living underground

 

Westlake Center - the hub of the downtown subway system. Our main transportation while in Seattle.

 

 

 

A beautiful back alley in the Pioneer Square area - so European.

Underground Seattle. A Photograph depicting the saloon bar, that still stands to this day and where our underground tour began. Very interesting history - a Must tour when in Seattle.

 

And the highlight of the day - The ball game - My cousin, Myrna, had this Fan Gram posted to thank her favorite ball player of all time - Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees - being in Mariner territory it had to be edited somewhat, but still awesome. BTW - Yankees won!

Seattle trip - Day 1

Trip to Seattle with my cousin, Myrna to witness Derek Jeters of the NYY last game there. Flying over the Rockies.

Thunderhead contrasts

I didn't take any pictures today, but I took one of the thunderhead pictures from yesterday and made it a black and white, and did a little cropping. Quite a dramatic difference, but rather a nice effect.

 

 

Prairie Thunderheads

 The cloud formations on the prairies are spectacular.The beautiful blue sky provides a great background for these fluffy thunderheads .Today was a day of intermittent thunderstorms, so lots of opportunity to take cloud pictures.
