    The value of cropping. I wanted to remove all the distractions from the above photo, trying to be more aware of my backdrops and surroundings while taking pictures to ensure that there is no face recognition or branding material.

Stopped at this abandoned farm N of Weyburn and on close examination discovered this very versatile plant. So many colors.

Canola Fields

It is hard to explain to someone just how beautiful it is on the Prairies when the Canola crops are in bloom. Amazing just how flat the prairies are in places and how Big the Sky is. So Pretty. This picture was taken near Swift Current Saskatchewan.

 

Purple Haze - it is caused by the fires in N. Sask ..

 

An abandoned farm on Rollyview Rd, near my place. I took it because several of my photo group people are interested in abandoned farms. I would like to revisit this place and take more detailed shots on a seasonal basis. This is on my return trip to Sask.

 

 

The forest fires in N. Sask created a purple haze to the skies. This is on the same day as the above picture however is in Southern Saskatchewan,
