Tried out an inexpensive fish eye on my iPhone.
No fireworks for me this New Years, but I still managed to get a couple of cool shots.
Not too sure just what these are, but I love the way the light reflects off them.

Country Lights
On my way to the "Country Lights" Christmas display near Leduc Alberta. Each year this gentleman puts up thousands of lights and allows people to come and see them for the entire month of Dec. It has grown so big that thousands of people come each year to wander through the Christmas Wonderland.
Some of the Magic
For some reason I just kept coming back to this photo, so I decided to add it.

Xmas Tree
I received a new Circular Polarizer Filter for Christmas and decided to try it out. It helped cut down the glare on the window. I am excited to see what it can do, Outdoors

Zoominescence
Each year the Edmonton Zoo lights up the Zoo for the Festive Season.
Santa's team taking a break
Topiary Elephant outside of "Lucy's Barn".
Loved the interesting designs in the snow - note the starburst.
One of the Fantastic Art displays.
A Lantern to light your way or warm the night.
Constant changing lights create an ever changing scene.

On the way home I swung by Candy Cane Lane.

A cool way to brighten up Winter. I wish I had a yard to do this in.

Last day of November
Beautiful Hoar frost on this last day of November.
I would have loved to have gotten a better shot of this, but the fellow was running and truthfully I wasn't prepared for that.
The boardwalk on Telford Lake
This has always been a curiosity to me? If its creative art than it is understandable.
Another view from my apartment of Telford Lake. I used this photo on my Xmas Cards this year.

Christmas in the Park
Devon's winter festival promotes its Luminary. What you see is actually a view of a maze of candles. In order to get this photo, I had to hike up a candle lit path.
Whoa! - slow down there! This is a 1944 fire truck that they take people around in the park. I couldn't resist using my light painting skills to capture this photo.

Santa Claus Parade - Leduc
Tonight was a good example of why I need more practice at night photography.
Thank goodness Art is subjective.
Lots of things "Not to Do" could be demonstrated with this shot.
Notice the light preceding the vehicle. Technically speaking the Flash fired
as the shutter opened (front curtain sync).

Festival of Trees
Some of the beautiful decorations adorning the trees @ the Leduc annual Festival of the Trees. Trees are decorated by donors and then auctioned off as a Fund Raiser.
