Edmonton Marathon

Some of the People participation in the Annual Edmonton Marathon. Events were for walking or running a 5k,10k, half marathon, full marathon.

Scavenger Hunt

Our Shutterbug Photo Group had a scavenger hunt for the August Photowalk. Each person was given a list of things to take photos of, in a 3 hour span. What a Fun Idea! Here are few of my chosen ones.

Adventures of Whitemud Park

This little guy is a Tree Slug. It apparently climbs up the tree and then lowers itself down via slime to almost the ground. Not something that you really want to walk into. Yuk!

Being that I am a Bliss and love to travel thought it appropriate to have this in my collection.

Summer Tour 2016 Comes to an End

After taking a wee road trip this summer, I have to say that I have a much greater appreciation for our farmers and ranchers. Living isolated in such a great vastness, although beautiful, comes with lots of hardships and challenges. My thanks goes out to them.

This Cowboy Boot archway was built by local ranchers as a tribute to John Both - a rancher who made a great impact in this area.
