Along the Brisbane River

The City has so many architectural appealing structures. This first one is actually a step fountain that is set between the stairs leading from the street to the river boardwalk. There are lots of bars and cafes running along the river.

 

Skyscrapers containing offices and condos are prime real estate along the Brisbane River.

 

This is the City Cat, which is a transportation system that runs along the river. It costs $6.20 for 2 hours and there are several drop off spots, covering a fair distance. I love the fact that if you just wanted to go for a boat ride, this would be the way to do it.
