June Photo Walk - Devonian Gardens - Devon Alberta

These gardens are beautiful and are a project and product of the University of Alberta. It is divided into different areas representing different geographical locations .

First stop was the Japanese Garden.

This is the upper portion of a creek that flows into the pond.

These flowers are just a few of the many species located throughout the main garden. We were here in the early morning after an evening rain, so I was able to capture a few remaining rain drops.

These wild flowers are located in the Woods Land portion of the garden.

If you look closely at this shot, you can see tiny stands of webs strung about.

I came across this funky fungus. It really didn't look real, but it was. Quite the unique specimen for sure.

"Let's wine this up"
My self imposed title. I found this little gem when leaving. There had been a function there the previous evening and some photographer must have set this up for a photo - I didn't , but did find it a MUST take shot.
