Grasslands National Park

There are 22 known Prairie Dog colonies in Sask. This particular location has 2. They are vital to the ecosystem as they provide homes for other animals. The burrowing owl is one of these species.
What a cutie!

Roads are long and straight in this area.

This tee pee camp is one of the campsites in the area. Guided group camps can take you back in time to long days ago and give you the experience of what it must have been to live here at that time. Individuals are also welcome to camp here.

                                      Beautiful Sunflowers are everywhere.

This is the 1911 homestead of  Cowboy, Horse thief, American Artist and Author , Will James ( born as Ernest DuFault 1892.)
